  • About This Guide

    This Credit Guide provides important information about the services we provide; our responsible lending obligations; how we are paid; and how we handle complaints and disputes.

  • Our Services

    We are authorised to provide credit assistance in relation to home loans and mortgages; personal loans; investment and commercial loans; and loan refinancing and restructuring.

    Our role is to understand your financial situation, requirements and objectives; recommend suitable loan products from our panel of lenders; and assist you with the loan application process.

  • Our Responsible Lending Obligations

    Before we provide credit assistance, we are required by law to make reasonable inquiries about your financial situation, requirements and objectives; take reasonable steps to verify your financial information; and ensure that any loan we recommend is not unsuitable for you.

    We will not recommend a loan if we believe it is unsuitable based on your circumstances.

    You can request a written copy of the preliminary assessment we conduct. This will be provided free of charge up to 7 years after we provided you with credit assistance.

  • Our Licensee’s Responsibility

    As a credit representative, we operate under the authority of LMG BROKER SERVICES PTY LTD AFSL 517192. Our licensee is responsible for the credit activities we conduct.

  • Our Panel of Lenders

    We can access a range of lenders and products through our aggregator, LMG BROKER SERVICES PTY LTD AFSL 517192. A list of these lenders is available on request.

  • Fees and Charges

    We do not charge you any direct fees for our services. Instead, if you proceed with a loan we arrange, we may receive commissions from the lender. Any applicable fees payable by you will be disclosed before you proceed.

  • Commissions We Receive

    If you take out a loan through us we may receive an upfront commission from the lender, usually a percentage of the loan amount. We may also receive an ongoing commission (trail) while your loan remains in place.

    We will provide you with an estimate of these commissions in a Credit Proposal Disclosure Document before you proceed with a loan.

  • Commissions Paid to Third Parties

    We may pay referral fees to third parties (e.g. accountants, real estate agents, financial planners) who refer clients to us. If applicable, these payments will be disclosed to you.

  • Privacy

    We collect, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes obtaining information from credit reporting bodies and disclosing information to lenders.

  • Resolving Complaints

    We are committed to handling complaints fairly and efficiently.
